    • Children’s Nebraska Behavioral Health Urgent Care - Kearney treats anyone 2 - 22 with behavioral health concerns on a walk-in basis. They are located at 211 W. 33rd Street, Suite D in Kearney, Nebraska and open Mondays through Fridays 1pm to 8pm. They “provide “in-the-moment” care – equipping the whole family with skills and support when they need it most. Their mental health professionals are experts at treating children of all ages with behavioral and mental health needs. They also work closely with the family’s doctors, school and other care team members to provide personalized treatment — to help improve their quality of life.”

    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Nebraska Family Helpline makes it easier for families to obtain assistance by providing a single contact point 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Trained Helpline operators screen calls to assess immediate safety needs, identify the potential level of a behavioral health crisis, make recommendations or referrals to appropriate resources, and help callers connect to emergency resources or providers. The Helpline is supervised by licensed mental health professionals.

  • (402) 715-4226 | Safe Harbor Peer Crisis Warm Line

    • The Safe Harbor Peer Crisis Warm Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Safe Harbor Peer Specialists have experienced mental illness and are in recovery. They’ve been in crisis situations that are stressful — they understand how you feel and can listen, share and offer practical coping strategies. Their goal is to give you a comfortable space where you can come, talk, and learn about available tools that work in time of crisis, and get back on your feet as you pursue recovery.

    • If you are near the Omaha, Nebraska area, Safe Harbor is located at 7150 Arbor Street and is available to anyone who needs their services. Nine out of 10 persons who come to Safe Harbor report that these services averted the need for hospitalization.
