Hello! It’s nice to meet you.
We are a non-profit foundation based in Kearney, Nebraska that is dedicated to creating a more positive and healthy community. After losing McKenna Rae Johnson in 2017, it became clear that we need to do more to alleviate mental illness, reduce stigma, and make wellness more accessible to everyone.
How?
Looking to get involved?
We believe the best way to get involved is to get really involved. That’s why Rae of Hope has been a prominent figure in Kearney and its surrounding areas since our inception in 2017. We keep busy with:
our scholarship programs
hosting a variety of community events
providing inspirational speakers
providing free Mental Health First Aid training
assisting campus organizations
working with local partners
contributing to Kearney’s crisis center
and so much more.
